Olympic Medalist Turned Author
A book release party/fundraiser hosted by Catchings’ Catch the Stars Foundation was held on Sunday, July 5 at Conseco Fieldhouse following the Indiana Fever-Atlanta Dream game. Dreams Are For Catching is 32-page saddle-stiched book that includes six journal exercises inviting readers to use provided space to record their answers to questions that help discover strengths and develop and accomplish goals. The journal entries are accompanied by inspirational messages and Catchings' personal reflections on topics such as hard work, dedication and a positive attitude. The book's intended audience is young women hoping to follow in Catchings’ shoes. Every Journey Has A Beginning
Joys of the Journey, a 182-page case-bound concealed wire-o, contains a collage of heartwarming stories on subjects as diverse as the beauty of nature; an everyday hero; a time-honored quilt; an unforeseen world found within a sacred little chapel; and a nugget-filled overview of U.S. coinage. It also includes multiple journal pages to be used by readers to record their own unique thoughts and stories as they read along. Joys of the Journey & Brightening the Corners: Rays of Hope for Our World are both now available on Woolling's site, www.herestolife.us. |
